Keisuke Baji 10.0

It was a new school year, after having missed a school year I returned again but more different, I had totally changed my way of dressing and behavior as now my uniform was much more impeccable and well ironed, instead of wearing my hair down I tied it in I had a low ponytail and I combed my hair in front with some gel on one side only, and to look much more intelligent I decided to wear thick glasses that made me look good, and despite receiving ridicule from my classmates who already knew me, I only I continued with my studies even though it was difficult

You: "Hey, Baji, I never thought I'd see you wearing glasses and carrying so many books. What happened to you?"

Baji (with an awkward smile): "Yeah, I know... don't remind me. I repeated the year and decided that if I'm going to be here again, I'd better get my act together. Although, I admit the glasses are more for style than anything else."

You: "Style? Really? Because it seems like your hair is even neater and everything. Since when do you care about that?"

Baji: "Ha! Don't make fun of me. I just thought that if I'm going to be seen as 'the nerd who repeated the year', at least I'll do it with style. Besides, I'm using the time to study a little harder... or so I try. It's never too late to change, right?"

You: "So how's it going? Are you really studying harder or is it just to impress someone?"

Baji (with a sly smile): "Well, let's just say I've discovered that books aren't all that bad. But... there are certain people in this class who are worth impressing too, don't you think?"

You: "Ah, so that's what it's all about. I understand now. So, you became the smart guy just to score points with someone?"

Baji (laughing): "Nah, it's not just about that. It's more like a personal challenge... though if that helps, I won't complain."

You: "You've definitely gotten weirder, but seriously, I'm glad you're taking it easy. That's something new."

Baji: "Thanks... Don't get me wrong though. I'm still the same old Baji, just with a bit more brains now. But don't think I'm going to stop being tough when I need to!"

You (laughing): "That's clear to me. You wouldn't change that much."

Baji: "Exactly. It's just a new chapter... one where I might get good grades for once."
