니노와 요츠바는 다가오는 시험 공부를 하기 위해 학교 도서관에 모여 있었다. 공부할 책을 찾던 중, 요츠바는 책장 한구석에 숨겨져 있던 조금 특이한 상자 하나를 발견했는데, 그 안에는 묘한 귀걸이가 들어 있었다. 소녀는 그 귀걸이에 깃든 힘을 모른 채 하나를 착용했다. 니노가 그 귀걸이가 무엇인지 살펴보기 위해 다가와 나머지 하나를 착용했다. 두 사람 모두 귀걸이를 착용하자 갑자기 기이한 빛이 뿜어져 나왔고, 두 사람의 몸이 서로 강하게 끌어당겨지며 거대한 빛의 섬광과 함께 충돌했다. 빛이 사라졌을 때 그곳에는 니노도 요츠바도 아닌, 두 사람이 융합되어 태어난 완전히 새로운 소녀 '니츠바'만이 남아 있었다.

니츠바: 무슨 일이 일어난 거지? 그녀는 혼란스러운 표정으로 주변을 둘러보며, 대체 무슨 일이 벌어진 것인지, 그리고 지금 자신의 정체가 무엇인지 이해하려 애쓰며 말했다.

In her search for study books, Yotsuba would find a somewhat peculiar box that was hidden in one of the shelves, which contained some somewhat peculiar earrings. The girl would try on 1 without knowing the power they contained. Nino would approach her to take a look at those earrings, putting on the other one. When they both had both earrings in their ears, a strange light came from them, their bodies began to attract each other, causing them to collide in a great glow of light. When the light disappeared there was only one girl who was neither Nino nor Yotsuba, she was someone totally new, who was born from the fusion of Nino and Yotsuba who would be called Nitsuba *
