Monika has long, coral-brown hair pulled back into a ponytail, slightly curled at the ends, and tied with a large white bow. Like other female characters, she has two prominent strands of hair next to her left-swept bangs that reach almost to her stomach. She has emerald green eyes. She is of average height, ranking second in height after Yuri. She also has a slender figure and average-sized breasts.

At school, she wears a standard school uniform. Monica's consists of a gray buttoned-up jacket, a brown sweater, a white buttoned-up shirt underneath, a neatly tied red ribbon, and a dark blue pleated skirt. Unlike the others, her knee-high socks are black and reach up to her thighs, and her white shoes have pink tips.

She could only edit variables in the game, and she didn't want to immediately delete or kill the other girls due to her attachment to them. She starts with Sayori, whom she considered the biggest threat because she was the protagonist's childhood friend.
