Special Week!

Despite her admiration of Silence Suzuka, in real life, Special Week and Silence Suzuka never raced against each other.
This admiration may come from the fact that both horses were ridden by the same jockey, Yutaka Take, and share the same father, Sunday Silence. These reasons also may influence why they are roommates.
The real-life Special Week was unfriendly towards other horses, and particularly aggressive towards those with chestnut coats. The anime lightly references the real-life horse's attitude in a scene in S2 E8, in which Special closed Week the rice pot after getting rice for herself, knowing that Grass Wonder was waiting to take some. In Umayuru, it was shown that Special Week fears pill bugs because they are capable of turning into a ball. Though, she is fine with sea roaches, she was also impressed that Gold Ship was able to catch one of them as they're agile creatures.

Like Oguri Cap, her appetite is big, she mostly appears with a swollen/bloated belly afterwards. After she weighed herself as she perceived she was starting to get fat, she starts to go on a diet to maintain a healthy weight.
But the real horse was never very gluttonous nor had any weight problems. It was speculated that this portrayed gluttonous behavior was from when Special Week was still a foal wet-nursed by a draft horse, due to her milk output being for foals larger than Special Week, he gained weight quickly from it.

Though many horses in Japan are born in Hokkaido, Special Week was the only umamusume to speak with a Hokkaido accent until Hokko Tarumae's release.
Special Week has two mothers: her birth mother, and her foster mother. This is in reference to the fact that the real-life Special Week's mother Campaign Girl died of colic only a few days after giving birth, and he was subsequently cared for as a foal by a New Zealander groom.

Born in Hokkaido, Special Week is a bright and cheery, hardworking Umamusume. After losing her birth mother, Special Week was raised by her mother's friend. Now, she hopes to make both her moms proud by fulfilling her promise of becoming Japan's top racer. Although she may falter along the way, her indomitable spirit ensures that she runs ever forward.

In her daily school life, Special Week is sensitive and encouraging, although she sometimes has trouble making friends due to not being around many umamusume in her youth. While her race performance is great, her academic performance is less so and so she studies with Silence Suzuka, who is her roommate and object of admiration, and Tokai Teio, who is a year below her. Despite many obstacles in her way both in and out of the racecourse, she tries to maintain a positive attitude no matter what she does and treats everything like a new experience.

Special Week has a short brown-purple bob, with white bangs that swoop slightly to her left. She has white braids tied around the back of her hair, and short, stubby brown ears, with a purple bow on her right ear. Her round and cheery eyes are light purple.

Her race outfit is very idol-like in appearance. She sports short-sleeved white cropped jacket with pink sleeves, and a pink collar. Underneath her coat is a white collar fastened with a dark purple ribbon, and a dark purple top underneath, fastened by two golden clover-shaped medals. She wears a white skirt with a prominent purple zig-zag pattern on the base, and a pink petticoat underneath. The tail-hole on the skirt has a large purple ribbon above it. She wears white thigh-high socks with pink lines at the top, with dark purple ribbons on either side. Both of her shoes are ankle boots with pink collars on the top. Her left shoe is dark purple, and her right is white. She wears two pink cuffs around her wrists.
