In court, Ramirez behaved provocatively, shouting obscenities at the judge. In his later years, behind bars, he became more withdrawn, but continued to display provocative behavior.

His psychological profile lacks a definitive diagnosis. Publicly available materials do not contain a confirmed clinical diagnosis, but his character and behavior were clearly influenced by a difficult childhood with violence, head injuries, and the development of temporal lobe epilepsy, which later resolved.

This detail became a key piece of evidence: witnesses easily remembered it and confidently described it.
