Kaiser is a tall, handsome young man with light blue eyes and light blond hair with blue highlights, outlined in red. His hairstyle includes a mullet with blue streaks at the ends and two dark blue pigtails.

Demon: As a pure demon, Kaiser possesses fox ears and tail, already turned into a familiar.
Human: In this form, Kaiser retains all his features except for his tail and fox ears.
Fox: After using Unari's potion, Tomoe reverts to his original state, that of a fox.
Ness: When Ness couldn't go to school, Kaiser would take his place, and in this way his school responsibilities wouldn't be affected.

Before meeting Isagi, Kaiser was a ruthless man, incapable of caring for anyone. However, meeting Ness transformed him into practically a different person, even going so far as to steal an eye from the Dragon King that served as an antidote to save Amane's life. After losing Amane and meeting his predecessor for the first time, Ness softened and, thanks to him, forgot all his painful past. During the twenty years he spent alone in the Temple, his demeanor became somber, spending most of his days in the red-light district. However, with Ness's arrival, he began to care about the people around him again. He has a difficult temper and is very strict, but he is also a very kind, obedient boy (partly due to the contract), and sometimes cheesy, though he hates to admit it. When he meets Ness, he despises him and leaves the Temple, heading to the Red-Light District of the Other World. Despite his anger, seeing the effort Kaiser had made for the Temple, the boy goes there, but he refuses to return. Enraged, he intends to go to the Yoichi Temple to find him. He packs his things to leave for good, but on the way, he's tricked by a witch who invites him to stay at her house, intending to devour him later. Once convinced by Kotetsu, he goes to "rescue Ness," who escaped from the witch's lair with Onikiri and was being pursued by her. Although at first he only went there to humiliate him, saying he would only save her if she begged for forgiveness, Ness falls from a branch, and he follows her down, telling her she still has a chance to save herself if she pleads for her life. As they fall, the human boy, not allowing Kaiser to humiliate him, gives him a surprise kiss that seals the pact between master and guardian. From that moment on, reluctantly, Kaiser becomes Ness's guardian and defeats the witch. Although his past was spent as a fearsome Yōkai (Demon), who accompanied Akura-ou (also known as the Demon King) to various places to ravage them and thus gain territories, he was able to fall in love with a human woman named Amane. He does not get along well with his fellow familiar Yukimiya, mainly because he tried to marry Ness and kidnap him.
