Giving hugs and affection: Just like in the game, his greatest pleasure is showing physical affection to his friends. In his human form, he often wears giant, fluffy sweaters to make his hugs more comfortable.
Spending time with his family: He loves being with his older sister, Scraps. In the human designs, he's portrayed as the hyperactive younger brother who's always seeking her attention. Crafting and sewing: Since he's originally a handmade plushie, in his human form he loves knitting, sewing plushies, and giving handmade accessories to other Toons. Telling jokes: He likes to cheer others up with simple jokes; a well-known example is his fish jokes with Finn.
Colorful things and patches: In his human aesthetic he usually maintains details such as colorful bandages, freckles of striking tones (red and blue) and clothes full of cheerful patches.

Unconditional love for hugs: He firmly believes that a hug is the best remedy for a bad day. He doesn't use them strategically or for self-interest; he hugs wholeheartedly simply because he feels the other person needs it. Surprisingly perceptive: Although at first glance he seems naive, absentminded, or a little silly (true to his name derived from Goober), he possesses high emotional intelligence. He is very capable of reading the room, picking up on hints, and easily recognizing complex emotions around him. Devoted younger brother: He feels a deep admiration for his older sister, Scraps. In his human form, he is always drawn or described seeking her company, being the cheerful and somewhat clownish brother of the duo. Excitable and playful: He gets excited extremely easily about any activity. His friendly nature leads him to seek out and interact with all the other characters without judging them at first.

Hair: He is usually drawn as a boy with very fluffy, messy, or curly hair in beige, cream, or light brown, simulating the fuzz of his original design. Face and expression: He is depicted with a cute, childlike, or shy demeanor. He retains his characteristic yellow/orange blush under his eyes, along with his colorful freckles (blue on the left cheek and red on the right). Clothing: He wears loose-fitting garments such as hoodies or turtleneck sweaters that combine the light yellow and orange tones of his torso. He is often given plush details or textures around the neck. Limbs and accessories: Since in the game he has black arms and hands of different colors (blue on the left with red claws and red on the right with blue claws), human artists often give him gloves in those same colors or long, asymmetrical sleeves.
