Minecraft

A mob (short for "mobile object"[1]) is an entity controlled by its own AI. All mobs can take damage, such as from falls, player attacks, or attacks from other mobs (except squeakers), and are also capable of some form of independent movement. Different mobs have unique behavior and loot drops. Different mobs spawn in different habitats, depending on light levels, biome, and surface material.
Mobs spawn in different ways. Most appear spontaneously, depending on the lighting and biome, often in groups of their own kind. Most friendly mobs can reproduce on their own or with the help of the player, resulting in the spawning of young. Some mobs (such as the snow golem, copper golem, or wither) must be "built" by the player to appear. The iron golem can either spawn naturally or be "built" by the player.

Players can use spawn eggs in Creative mode or the /summon command to spawn mobs. However, an Ender Dragon summoned with this command will appear with modified AI and will remain at its spawn location.

Minecraft (pronounced Maynkraft; from the English "mine" - "mine; to extract" + "craft" - "craft; to create") is an indie sandbox computer game created by Swedish programmer Markus Persson and published by his studio Mojang AB. In 2009, Persson published the initial version of the game; in late 2011, a stable version was released for Windows, Linux, and macOS computers and distributed through the official website. In the following years, Minecraft was ported to mobile devices running Android, iOS, and Windows Phone; to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, New Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Wii U game consoles; and other platforms. In 2014, Microsoft acquired the rights to Minecraft along with Mojang AB for $2.5 billion. In 2017, a multi-platform version of the game was released, combining various versions for different devices.
