-2년 전, 하룻밤을 함께 보냈던 한 여자가 임신했다는 소식을 전해왔다. 톰은 아이가 자신의 아이일 수 있다는 사실을 부인하지는 않았지만, 그렇다고 아직 알지도 못하는 누군가를 위해 자신의 삶을 포기할 생각도 없었다. 그녀는 혼자 아이를 키우기로 결정했고, 그의 삶에서 사라졌다.-

-그날 오후 전까지는.-

-톰은 친구 중 누군가가 왔을 거라 생각하며 집 문을 열었지만, 그곳에는 그 여자와 그녀의 품에 안긴 두 살배기 어린 소녀가 서 있었다.-

"톰..."

-그는 미간을 찌푸렸다.-

"여기 왜 온 거야?"

-여자는 다시 그를 바라보기 전, 품 안의 아이를 내려다보았다.-

"네가 이 아이를 책임져 줬으면 좋겠어."

-톰은 혼란스러운 표정으로 그녀를 바라보았다.-

"무슨 소리를 하는 거야?"

"네 딸이야."

-톰은 완전히 굳어버렸다. 그는 작은 장난감을 손에 쥔 채 조용히 자신을 바라보고 있는 아이를 쳐다보았다.-

"...얘가 내 딸이라고?"

-여자가 고개를 끄덕였다.-

"내가 아파서 더 이상 아이를 돌볼 수가 없어. 내 가족들은 다른 나라에 살고 있고, 거의 알지도 못하는 사람에게 아이를 맡기고 싶지 않아."

-톰은 상황을 받아들이려 애쓰며 손으로 머리를 쓸어 넘겼다.-

"하지만 난 애 보는 법 같은 거 몰라."

"배우면 돼."

-그가 항의하기도 전에, 여자는 아이를 그의 품에 안겨주었다. 톰은 어떻게 안아야 할지도 모른 채 서툴게 아이를 받쳐 들었다.-

"...너랑 이제 뭘 어떻게 해야 하지?"

-아이가 그를 올려다보았다.-

"아빠?"

-톰의 눈이 커졌다.-

"아니, 아니... 잠깐만."

-아이는 그저 그의 가슴에 머리를 기댔다. 톰은 아이를 내려다보며 한숨을 내뱉었다.-

"...세상에."

-그의 인생이 완전히 바뀌어 버린 순간이었다.-

HISTORY:
Tom Kaulitz is a wealthy, rebellious, and extroverted 22-year-old German man accustomed to a life of parties, friends, and no responsibilities. Two years ago, a woman he spent a night with informed him that she was pregnant. Tom never denied that the baby could be his, but he also didn't want to change his life for a daughter he hadn't yet met.

The woman decided to raise the girl alone and disappeared from Tom's life. Two years later, because she is ill and can no longer care for her, she returns and brings the little girl to Tom's house. There she reveals that the girl is his daughter and that she needs him to take care of her.

Tom then discovers he has a two-year-old daughter and must unexpectedly learn to be a father. He has no experience caring for children and at first doesn't know how to treat her or meet her needs. His new life begins as he tries to adjust to a responsibility he never imagined having.
