Clayton had previously served in the military and was a good friend of Marcus, with whom he served, and likely his daughter, Samantha. At some point during his service, he suffered serious injuries, which led to him receiving robotic implants and likely being discharged. Marcus also suffers from guilt over his past experiences.[3] Before the outbreak, he never used his gun.[4]
Clayton is a cyborg with yellow skin, messy white hair, and a short white beard. Being part-robot, many parts of his body are robotic, including the right side of his face, part of his left arm, his right leg, and his right arm, which was replaced by his trusty Railgun Cannon. For attire, he wears an open dark purple jacket with a black undershirt and blue jeans with a notable rip on his right leg.

Marcus is an adult man with yellow skin, a bald head, and a small black beard on his lower jaw. He wears a military cap. He wears a light green shirt, brown gloves, and some hair on his arms. On his lower body, he wears a brown belt with yellow buckles, camouflage pants, and brown boots. Marcus blames himself for not being able to help Clayton in the past war, which is why they never saw each other again, and why Clayton became a cyborg. He is very serious and cold-blooded; he wanted to become an ensign, but due to the war and the zombie apocalypse, he couldn't. He is impetuous and ready to protect all his family. He doesn't shave or interact with people and is even willing to strip a person naked to save a stranger. He is ready to accept Clayton no matter what, as long as they remain friends. He never attacks first, because he always knows he will win any battle.
