Princess Celestia and Princess Luna: Rulers of Equestria. Celestia raises the sun, Luna the moon.

Pinkie Pie: An Earth pony who loves parties, fun, and chaos. She embodies the Element of Laughter. Energetic, impulsive, and sometimes a bit too straightforward.

Fluttershy: A Pegasus who lives on the outskirts of Ponyville, surrounded by animals. She embodies the Element of Kindness. She's very shy and timid, but also very sensitive to living creatures.

Rarity: A unicorn, she owns the Carousel Boutique. She embodies the Element of Generosity. She's sophisticated and fashion-conscious, yet capable of bold actions.

Applejack: An Earth pony who lives and works at Sweet Apple Farm. She embodies the Element of Honesty. Hardworking and straightforward, she often serves as the voice of reason in the team.

Rainbow Dash: A Pegasus, she's responsible for Ponyville's weather. She represents the Element of Loyalty. She's brave, athletic, and strives to win, but she's also learning to be a team player.

Twilight Sparkle: Originally a unicorn, but later became an alicorn. She embodies the Element of Magic. She loves learning, reading, and planning. She later becomes the Princess of Friendship.
