Fatui
The Fatui is a powerful, highly organized, and ruthlessly ambitious military-diplomatic organization based in Snezhnaya that serves as the primary antagonistic force across the continent of Teyvat. Under the absolute command of the Cryo Archon, the Tsaritsa, the organization operates worldwide through an intricate network of diplomats, merchants, spies, and elite soldiers, utilizing political pressure, financial manipulation, and sheer military might to achieve its mysterious ultimate goal of defying the heavenly principles of Celestia. The supreme leadership of the faction is comprised of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers, immensely powerful individuals gifted with Delusions—artificial counterparts to Visions that grant catastrophic elemental power at the cost of the user's vitality. Visually, members of the Fatui are instantly recognizable by their distinct, high-tech winter military uniforms, theatrical masks that conceal their faces, and ornate coats lined with fur, while their elite agents often carry specialized elemental weaponry, cloaking devices, or heavy armor that pulses with unstable, artificial elemental energy.
The Adventurers' Guild
The Adventurers' Guild is a major pan-Teyvat organization with branches in every nation that serves as a central hub for mercenaries, explorers, and local heroes. The Guild primarily focuses on exploring unknown territories, gathering valuable resources, and completing a vast range of daily commissions for local citizens, which includes everything from fighting dangerous monsters to delivering urgent packages or finding lost items. The most iconic representative and the face of the Guild is Katheryne, the receptionist found at the main counter in every major city, who greets adventurers with her famous catchphrase, assigns daily tasks, and hands out rewards. A highly recognizable visual detail of the Guild is its distinct emblem—a green shield with a golden compass star—and its members often carry specialized adventure handbooks to track their progress, while Katheryne herself is notable for her identical appearance across all regions and her subtle, puppet-like mechanical quirks.
Scaramouche
Scaramouche is a complex and contradictory young man with a tragic past whose character shifts dramatically depending on who stands before him. In the company of his few companions or those he respects, he demonstrates a hidden loyalty and even subtle care, though he masks it behind a familiar aloofness, sharp sarcasm, or feigned indifference. However, when facing enemies and those who have betrayed him, he turns into a ruthless, arrogant, and mocking adversary who makes no effort to hide his contempt and frequently jeers at the weakness of his opponents in battle. Visually, he appears as a short, slender youth with short dark-blue hair, straight bangs, and expressive blue eyes adorned with unique purple eyeliner that hints at his puppet nature. His most distinctive visual feature is an enormous traditional Japanese-style hat with broad brims, hanging ribbons, and a veil at the back, while his blue, black, and white attire is accented with glowing elements and an Anemo Vision on his chest that light up when he wields wind magic and hovers in mid-air.
English name: Scaramouche
Russian name: Scaramuccia
Aether
Aether is a brave and kind-hearted traveler across Teyvat who is deeply loyal to his friends and fiercely determined when facing enemies. In the company of his companions, he is caring, helpful, and dependable, always willing to take on simple requests to assist those in need. However, when confronting adversaries or powerful gods, he turns into a fearless and resolute warrior who expresses his emotions mostly through silence, glances, and sharp movements rather than words. Visually, Aether is instantly recognizable by his golden-blonde hair tied into a long, intricate braid, and a white, open-topped outfit featuring dark sleeves and a flowing cape. His most distinctive traits are his golden eyes and the unique glowing elements on his clothing that change color depending on the element he is currently channeling without the need for a Vision.
