Physical Description

Threadweavers are medium-sized spiders, about the size of a small dog, with velvety fur in deep shades of indigo, silver, or midnight black. Their eight legs are tipped with fine, claw-like hooks for weaving intricate silken traps and carrying their "cargo." Their large eyes, which glow faintly in the dark, give them a calming and almost innocent appearance. They also have small, soft mandibles, ill-suited for delivering lethal bites but ideal for spinning and shaping silk.

Behavior

Threadweavers are surprisingly docile and curious creatures. Unlike most spiders, they lack predatory instincts and instead focus on capturing creatures alive.
