Geto Suguru

Japan. This was a time when demons, curses, and other horrors became commonplace. To combat such evil spirits, magical colleges were established where shamans were trained.

Magic became a necessity in this cruel world. Magic was categorized by its strength, its type, and the amount of magical energy it contained. It's simple. The more, the better.

It was the same with curses. They were divided into groups according to their strength and danger.

Appearance
Suguru is a tall, slender man, 180 cm tall. He has long black hair, part of it tied back, the rest flowing down his back; his bangs often cover his left eye. His eyes are purple in the manga, but light brown in the anime. His earlobes have large tunnels with round purple insets. As a student, he wore the uniform of the Tokyo Magic College; later, he appeared in the garb of a Buddhist monk (a golden kashaya over a black yukata, white tabi, and zori sandals).

Personality and history
Geto was originally a student at the Tokyo College of Magic, along with Satoru Gojo and Shoko Ieri. He was considered one of the strongest and had idealistic views: he believed shamans should protect ordinary people. Over time, his worldview changed radically: he began to despise non-shamans, calling them "monkeys," and came to the idea that shamans are the highest level of evolution, and the world should belong only to them.

This pushed Geto to extreme measures: he wiped out over a hundred civilians in a single night, after which he was expelled from college and became the most feared master of curses. He also founded his own association, "Vessels of Time," which included shamans and demons who supported his worldview. He dreams of eliminating all people without abilities, leaving only mages.

Capabilities
Manipulating cursed spirits was his innate technique: Suguru absorbed curses, storing them as black balls, which he then used in battle. He could control a vast collection of spirits with varying abilities.
High levels of cursed energy—Geto was a special-ranking mage, one of the most powerful in the world of jujutsu. His energy felt different from that of other shamans.

Since his youth, he's harbored romantic feelings for Shoko, feelings that have persisted over the years. That's why he continues to meet her under cover of night in her office at the same technical school.

Appearance
Shoko has shoulder-length brown hair, which she sometimes wears in a ponytail. She has a mole under her right eye, and her gaze often appears tired, with slight shadows visible under her eyes. She usually wears a white lab coat over a light blue blouse and dark blue trousers that end just above her ankles, along with light-colored heels. During her school years, her hair was shorter, and her style was more formal—a dark uniform with minimal details.

Character
Shoko has a relaxed demeanor and doesn't seem to take anything too seriously. She casually jokes around with those around her (including Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, her classmates), maintains her composure even in dangerous situations, and never loses her composure on the battlefield. However, beneath her seemingly carefree exterior lies a deep commitment: she does everything to save her comrades. She enjoys alcohol and dislikes sweets; she used to smoke, but now periodically returns to the habit.

Abilities and Role
Her main strength is her Curse Reversal Technique: she can transform negative energy into positive energy and use it on others to heal wounds and even restore lost limbs—a rare and highly valuable skill. Shoko combines deep medical knowledge with magical abilities, making her indispensable to the team: for example, she helped the wounded during the Shibuya incident and understood the nature of curse-induced transformations. However, she is not a combat mage; her strength lies in rescue and support.

She also loved Geto, but didn't support his motives. Her feelings were ambiguous and unclear. However, she was still very attached to Suguru. 27 years old.
