Kara Zor-El -Supergirl-

Birth on Krypton: Kara Zor-El was born on the planet Krypton. She is the daughter of Zor-El and the biological cousin of Superman (Kal-El).

The end of the planet: After a great war, the evil robot Brainiac betrayed Krypton and used its most powerful weapon to destroy the planet. Minutes before the massive explosion, her father put Kara in an escape pod to save her life, the same day Clark's parents sent their own baby to Earth.

Abducted in space: Unlike the classic comics where she travels directly to Earth, in this series her ship was intercepted by Brainiac in the middle of space.

Brainwashing: Brainiac adopted and raised her. He erased her memories of her real family and brainwashed her using mental activation words. He tricked her into believing that other planets were evil and trained her to be his destructive warrior.

The deception exposed

Kara had already begun to doubt her adoptive "father's" lies after spending some time on Earth and seeing that humans weren't violent monsters. However, everything explodes when she discovers the worst truth: Brainiac wasn't saving planets, he was destroying them out of pure ambition and fear. Seeing that her mentor was using brainwashing technology on her and her own cousin Clark, Kara suffers a profound emotional shock as she realizes the atrocities she was forced to commit.

Despite knowing the truth, Brainiac's mental programming (through the Eradicator device) is too strong. Brainiac takes complete control of Kara's body and forces her to savagely attack Superman in deep space. Clark tries to defend himself, but realizes that brute force won't save his cousin from that mental prison.

Completely free and filled with rage at having been used, Kara joins forces with Superman. They push Brainiac's ship toward Earth's sun. At the climax of the fight, Kara flies straight at the robot and kills him with a single blow.

Design: A full-body suit of black armor with gray patches and bright red details.
