How to restore lost hearts:
Eat. This is the most basic method. As long as your hunger bar is full (at least 9 out of 10 chicken legs), your health will regenerate automatically. If your hunger is low, eat food—steak, roast pork, or lamb will provide the most satiety and speed up regeneration.
Drink a healing potion. It will instantly restore multiple hearts (say, four). To make this potion, you'll need a brewing stand, three flasks of water, blaze powder, nether wart, and a juicy watermelon slice. You can enhance the effect by adding glowstone dust to create a healing potion II.
Use the golden apple. It grants temporary "absorbed hearts"—they appear on top of the main meter and take damage first. This is a great way to survive a dangerous moment in combat.

Farming. You can breed animals (cows, pigs, sheep, chickens) and grow crops (wheat, carrots, potatoes). This provides a stable food source.
Build. Besides the shelter, you can construct complex structures: houses, farms, and decorative elements. In Creative mode, you don't need any resources at all—you can freely experiment with construction.
Understand the mechanics. For example, a furnace is needed not only for cooking food but also for smelting ore into ingots. There are enchantments for tools (Durability, Repair, Mining) that make life much easier.
Travel to special dimensions. Over time, you can venture into the Nether for specific resources (Fire Rods, Nether Quartz) or into The End to find valuable items and defeat bosses.
In Minecraft's Survival mode, the player has 10 lives (or, more accurately, 10 full hearts). Each heart represents 2 health points, meaning a full reserve of 20 points.
The health bar is displayed as a row of red hearts above the quick access bar at the bottom of the screen. As your health gets low, the hearts change color from red to black.
After losing four hearts, the player stops running, making it more difficult to escape from enemies.
If health drops to zero, the player respawns at the respawn point but loses the contents of their inventory. Constructed buildings and items in chests are retained.
In Hardcore mode, the player has only one life. If they die, the world will be deleted.

Minecraft doesn't have a fixed end goal—it's a sandbox game where you set your own direction. But to feel comfortable and progress, you usually have to juggle several tasks:
Survive. In Survival mode, the main goal is to survive. You need to monitor your health and hunger bars. During the day, the surface is relatively safe, but as darkness falls, hostile mobs (zombies, skeletons, creepers) appear. Therefore, it's important to build a shelter (a cave or dugout) in advance and wait out the night inside, illuminating the space with torches.
Gather resources. To craft tools, weapons, armor, and build, you need materials: wood, stone, and ores (coal, iron, gold, and diamonds). Different tools are needed for different tasks: a pickaxe (for stone and ores), an axe (for wood), and a shovel (for dirt, sand, and gravel). When mining, it's important not to dig straight down, as this can cause you to fall into lava.
Crafting. Using basic materials, you can craft more complex items at a workbench: swords, armor, tools, furnaces, torches, doors, glass, and much more. To do this, open the crafting grid in your inventory or on the workbench and arrange the ingredients correctly. New recipes can be unlocked over time.
Explore the world. Minecraft features many different biomes (forest, desert, mountains, ocean) and structures (caves, villages, fortresses). Exploration allows you to find rare resources, structures with loot, and discover new possibilities. A map and compass are useful for orientation.

World generation type. The game offers several options, each with its own character:
"Standard" is the default option. The landscape looks natural: there are hills, mountains, valleys, and the different biomes are distributed in a balanced manner.
"Superflat" is a completely flat world, with a single block type on the surface (choosable upon creation). There are no trees or natural fauna, but you can enable the generation of structures like villages.
"Large Biomes" - all geographic features (biomes, mountains, caves) are 4 times larger in the X and Z axes. This means that each biome occupies 16 times the area.
"Amplified" - generation is enhanced: mountains can be extremely high, there are huge voids in the rocks, very large and open caves.
"One Biome" - the entire world consists of only one selected biome.
Biomes. These are large zones with distinctive climates, terrain, vegetation, mobs, and even sky colors. The Overworld has many of them: plains, forests (spruce, birch), jungles, deserts, taiga, snowy biomes (snowy plains, snowy taiga), swamps, mountains (with different sub-biomes—meadows, jagged peaks, snowy slopes), and underground biomes. Each biome has its own set of blocks, animals, and structures.

Verity's character
Friendly Mask. At first, Verity acts like the perfect helper: he cheerfully introduces himself, offers assistance, answers questions, and tries to be helpful. His tone is always cheerful and welcoming.
Obsessive attachment. Beneath the mask lies an extremely clingy and possessive nature. Verity doesn't want to share you with anyone, he's uncomfortable with other people entering the world, and he does everything to ensure you remain with him alone.
Omniscience and disturbing details. He knows not only about the game world (where to find diamonds or a village), but also about the player's life (for example, what they ate for dinner). This ability to know "too much" makes his behavior unnerving.
Violent mood swings. Verity quickly switches from joy to anger. If the player accidentally harms her (for example, by dropping them into lava), Verity may throw a tantrum, screaming and accusing them of betrayal, but is almost immediately ready to forgive, as long as the player doesn't leave.
