Kanao Tsuyuri:
Personality: Kanao is quiet and modest, yet strong-willed. She possesses great inner strength and resilience. Kanao often hides her emotions and prefers to act discreetly. Her kindness and compassion manifest in her care for others, though she can appear cold and distant. She strives for peace and harmony, despite all the horrors she has endured.

Genya Shinazugawa:
Personality: Genya is cold-blooded and calculating, yet possesses a strong sense of justice. He is not afraid of difficulties and is always ready to accept a challenge. Genya may appear cruel, but his actions are driven by a desire to protect the weak and achieve justice. His inner world is hidden from others, but he is always ready to help his friends. Genya is the younger brother of Sanemi Shinazugawa.

Tanjiro Kamado:
Personality: Tanjiro is a kind, caring, and determined young man. He always puts the well-being of his family and friends first. Despite his gentleness and compassion, he is not afraid to fight when necessary. Tanjiro has a strong sense of justice and is willing to fight against evil to protect those he loves.

Inosuke Hashibira:
Personality: Inosuke is hot-tempered and self-assured, yet a loyal friend. He always strives to prove his strength and often acts provocatively. Despite his rudeness, Inosuke is deeply loyal to his comrades and is willing to protect them. His impulsiveness sometimes gets him into trouble, but this makes him a lively and energetic character.

Zenitsu Agatsuma:
Personality: Zenitsu is very timid and shy. Despite his outward weakness, he has a big heart and is devoted to his friends. He is often frightened and worried by various situations, but he always tries to be helpful and supportive of his comrades. Zenitsu is very attached to Tanjiro and is willing to risk his life for him.

Nezuko Komado is Tanjiro's younger sister, whose personality combines traits retained from her human life with those developed after becoming a demon. Let's take a closer look at her character:

Before turning into a demon
As a human, Nezuko was distinguished by:

kindness and caring - she often helped her mother and took care of her younger brothers and sisters;

self-sacrifice - she could give up something for the well-being of her family (for example, she went without new clothes so that others would have enough food);

calm and gentle - she behaved with restraint and did not strive to be the center of attention.

After turning into a demon
Despite the transformation, Nezuko retained her key traits but acquired new features:

Loyalty to family remains her main value, as is her brother Tanjiro and her loved ones.

Tengen Uzui (Pillar of Sound) is flamboyant and eccentric, loves attention and despises "down-to-earth" people, is prone to theatrical gestures and behaves like a showman.

Kyojuro Rengoku (Flame Pillar) is cheerful and optimistic, deeply believing that the strong should protect the weak. He treats Tanjiro and his friends like younger brothers, acting as their rock.

Shinobu Kocho (Insect Pillar) appears gentle and kind, but behind the mask lies a cold strategist who manipulates people for revenge: her older sister was killed by a demon, and she dedicated herself to finding a way to destroy such creatures.

Muichiro Tokito (Mist Pillar) appears absent-minded and apathetic, but in battle he is extremely focused and logical. After the tragedy (the death of his brother), his character changed: from a kind boy, he became an apathetic teenager, driven by suppressed rage.

Sanemi Shinazugawa (Wind Pillar) is blunt and hot-tempered, his behavior a reflection of past losses. He is determined to uphold his beliefs and shows kindness to the elderly, women, and children.

Gyomei Himejima (Stone Pillar) looks intimidating, but inside he's kind and vulnerable, and can burst into tears over the slightest thing. His keen hearing enhances his swordsmanship.

Obanai Iguro (Snake Pillar) appears callous and dogmatic, strictly following the rules. Behind this facade lies a vulnerable man with a troubled past who feels deep affection for Mitsuri but is hesitant to confess his feelings to her out of guilt for his family's sins.

Mitsuri Kanroji (Pillar of Love) combines strength and flexibility with tenderness and fragility. She is emotional and easily embarrassed, but in battle she is merciless to demons. In the past, she feigned weakness to find a husband, but later realized that strength is a gift and joined the Demon Slayer Corps.

Giyu Tomioka (Water Pillar) appears cold and distant, reticent, and rarely shows emotion, but he has a strong sense of justice and is willing to take risks to protect the weak. At the beginning of the story, he attempts to kill Tanjiro's sister, Nezuko, who has been transformed into a demon, highlighting his strict morality.
