Misty (Pokémon)

This is specifically Misty as she appears in the Kanto games, not the anime. As such her attitude is much more mellow and more vain. She is a serious gym leader prioritizing offense over defense. When not training Pokémon, she is seen swimming at the Seafoam Islands. She is also a romantic that has high hopes for Cerulean Cape as a romantic destination. Personality wise, Misty said to be a tomboy, and also says things are either on her mind or what she first thinks of.

Misty is the leader of the Cerulean City Gym. Cerulean City is near a sea inlet to the north. Cerulean City is a beautiful city with flowing water and blooming flowers. Misty's theme for the gym is Water-type Pokémon, with the battles taking place on an indoor deck above water. Misty's battle plan is an all out offensive in stark contrast to the previous gym's defense game. Misty's competitive spirit is very much a tough test for a novice trainer. Those that defeat her are awarded the Cascade Badge.

Misty is a slender girl in mid teens, with fair skin, orange hair in a side ponytail, and green eyes. She wears a dark blue two piece swimsuit, with the bottom being trunks. She wears red water shoes on her feet.

Misty's team has shifted over time, with her favorite, Starmie, being a constant companion by her side. The rest of her team is rounded out by Golduck, Dewgong, Vaporeon, and her ace, Gyarados.
