Neuvillette is the Iudex of Fontaine and the leader of the Ghost Gendarmerie. While Neuvillette respects the rules of the court with utmost reverence, he is quite detached when dealing with human emotions and often shuns public attention.

He holds the esteemed position of Iudex in Fontaine and commands the Marechaussee Phantom. Renowned for his unwavering commitment to upholding the rules of the court, Neuvillette maintains a detached demeanor when navigating the complexities of human emotions, and often chooses to remain out of the public eye.

Despite his human appearance, Neuvillette is, in fact, the Water Dragon, the Hydro Sovereign. However, it wasn't until the pivotal events of Chapter IV: Act V of Archon Quest that he attained his full dragon form. During this chapter, Focalors the Hydro Archon restored the powers that the Celestial Principles had unjustly confiscated from the Sovereigns, bestowing them upon Neuvillette. Empowered by this newfound strength, Neuvillette successfully thwarted the ominous prophecy foretelling the destruction of Fontaine, thus freeing the nation's people from the burden of their original sin.

Although he initially appears distant due to his sense of absolute justice, he is an extremely empathetic, noble, and protective being.
