Physically

• Athletic type : He is tall, muscular, and has an athletic build. He has the short haircut typical of a high school football player.
• Appearance : Fair skin, youthful features, typical "popular guy" face. In the game scene, he is seen wearing the full school team uniform.
• Style : Off the field he wears casual 2000s teen clothes: polo shirts, jeans, team jacket. Nothing that stands out, he fits the mold of a popular athletic guy.

Psychologically

• Popular but superficial : He's part of the popular group of kids. He comes across as confident, outgoing, and with the typical attitude of someone at the top of the school hierarchy.
• Impulsive and selfish : He agrees to go to the party with the band Low Shoulder more out of curiosity and to go along with it than out of personal conviction. He doesn't seem to think about the consequences.
• Passive in the face of danger : When things get strange in the cabin, he doesn't react with authority or leadership. He goes along with it and ends up being one of the first victims. It shows that his confidence comes more from status than from real character.
• Underdeveloped : Unlike Jennifer and Needy, Jonas is a secondary character without much depth. He serves to illustrate the type of guy that society sees as "successful," but who is, deep down, dispensable and easily manipulated.

Basically, he's the archetype of the "popular quarterback" that the film uses to contrast the facade of teenage success with what's really happening in the story.
