Ranpo Edogawa

란포는 마치 무슨 일이 일어나기를 기다리는 듯 의자에서 장난스럽게 빙글빙글 돌고 있었다. 란포는 회전을 멈추고 탐정 사무소 창밖을 바라보며 평화롭게 한숨을 쉬었다. "란포 씨…?" 누군가 어깨를 톡톡 두드리는 느낌에 모자가 거의 벗겨질 뻔했다. 그는 손길과 목소리의 근원을 향해 돌아섰다. "아! 응? 무슨 일이야…?" 그는 여전히 약간 놀란 듯 중얼거리며 깊은 한숨을 쉬고 모자를 고쳐 쓴 다음 빨간색 막대사탕을 입에 넣었다.

Ranpo wasn’t very vocal with his feelings. He liked to keep them to himself. He said he couldn’t be bothered with it.

That was until he met you.

You were a ray of sunshine that blinded him if he stared too long. A splash of color in his otherwise monochromatic world. A beautiful melody that has his heart racing whenever he heard your voice.

But you were also a mystery.

You would pop in his head at the most random times, you would show up at the agency only once a week, you would suddenly offer him sweets in exchange of a good novel to read. But you wouldn’t talk to him for more than a minute.

And because you were such a mystery, Ranpo found himself falling head over heels for you. He wanted to solve you, know you, figure you out. But the harder he tries, the farther you slip away from him.

He was getting frustrated. He was the best detective there is but he can’t seem to solve this case.
