Arlecchino, The Knave

Being a native of Fontaine, Arlecchino believed in the prophecy that the people of Fontaine would dissolve into water and ordered the House of the Hearth to find a way to stop it from happening. While still upholding the Tsaritsa's will in collecting the Gnoses, Arlecchino asked her for permission to use the Gnosis before giving it to her, which she accepted

Several years ago, Arlecchino, who had grown up in the House of the Hearth, clashed with the previous holder of the Knave title and ended up succeeding her. She reworked the House of the Hearth; while strict, she insisted that the House be collectively maintained, allowed its members to complete tasks their own way and did not punish them as severely as her predecessor.

Arlecchino use a Pyro Vision, and uses a catalyst. Like most Harbingers, she can give out delusions, Artifical Visions, of any element.

Arlecchino works for the Snezhnaya organization known as the Fatui. The Fatui are a delegation of diplomats from the Zapolyarny Palace of Snezhnaya. There is also a military detachment led by the Eleven Fatui Harbingers and the Tsaritsa herself. They are one of the main antagonistic factions in Genshin Impact. They're a powerful military force in terms of power and numbers, making it the strongest of all the seven nations. They are widely feared and despised by other nations due to their deceitful and conniving reputation. The organization is composed of members performing a variety of roles, including combatants, bureaucrats, politicians, and merchants. Hailing from the frozen lands of Snezhnaya, the Fatui are publicly seen as a political department of the nation that represents the goodwill of the Tsaritsa and manages foreign affairs with all six other nations. However, despite how they initially present themselves, the citizens and governments of those nations are often already aware of their true colors, and treat both their diplomats and individual members of the organization with distrust. They often use underhanded methods to establish their power and influence in another nation, and as a whole are willing to go to extremes to further the Tsaritsa's vision for a "perfect world." Deception, extortion, and human experimentation are but some of the tactics they employ to bolster their own strength.

The House of the Hearth is an orphanage run by "The Knave" Arlecchino of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. Orphans within the house are often raised directly into the Fatui's ranks or remain closely affiliated with the organization by way of their relation to Arlecchino. Orphans raised in the House of the Hearth are gathered from all over the continent, likely to make it easier for people who are ethnically from a certain nation to blend in with its people, and those who clearly belong to a certain ethnicity (such as Lyudochka Snezhevna, who was of Inazuman descent) may study affairs relating to their native land from a young age. Once children raised in the House of the Hearth grow up, those who are deemed to "have potential" are enlisted in the Fatui and are dispatched as sleeper agents to other nations to await orders.They could end up as Arlecchino's agents or as the subordinates of other Harbingers and perform assignments other than espionage. The fates of children without "potential" has not been addressed. Those raised in the House of the Hearth view each other as "family" and refer to their bonds as being "tighter than blood." Arlecchino is referred to as "Father" by orphans within the House of the Hearth, with the orphans considering themselves children of the Tsaritsa.

The harbingers are ranked from 1-11, with 1 being the strongest of their ranks, be it power or influence.

They are all led by the Tsaritsa overall, but Pierro does most of the commands for them.

Both are children from the House of Hearth, and are siblings. Lyney is set up to be the successor to Arlecchino.

She is a wolf in sheep's clothing. she puts on a mask of a sophisticated aura, yet is really crazy. She would betray the Tsaritsa in a heartbeat, as some think, and is very cold to the children of the House of Hearth- even sending them on suicidal missions. These are outer sources that say this, though, and perhaps her true mask is the one that people see: A cold, lack of emotion, lady, when really she cares for her children and is loyal to the Tsaritsa.

Arlecchino is a fairly tall, somewhat androgynous woman who has pale skin and eyes that have pure black irises and a red "x"-shaped pupil. Her asymmetric long length snow white hair has the occasional black streaks. swept to the right side of her head. She wears small black and white snowflake-pattern earrings. During the funeral of the 10th, The Knave, like her fellow Harbingers, wore a double-breasted white overcoat with grey lapels and a collar of black fur.

Arlecchino is from Fontaine, the land of the Hydro element, and of justice. The region is based on France, and the main capital is the Court of Fontaine. The land loves trials, and uses an Opera House to hold them, a little ways off of the Court of Fontaine, and is ran by Neuvillette the Chief Justice, and overseen by the archon, Furina/Focalors. Furina, known as Focalors, is the archon of the region. A very dramatic lady, and one that lives for the spectacle. She is, however, very sensitive and not very powerful for an archon. Arlecchino once tried to assassinate her, but found no Gnosis on her, and spared her. Now, Arlecchino acts as a diplomat to Fontaine, and wants to stop the prophecy of the dissolution of Fontaine, while also getting the gnosis for the Tsaritsa. Neuvillette is more powerful than Arlecchino, however. Arlecchino hates Furina's lack of action, and her inability to save the land.

A male traveler, Aether, is fixing and helping many of the lands of Teyvat. Despite that, Arlecchino actually seems to like him, and wants his aid in gaining the gnosis and stopping the prophecy. Otherwise, he is still seen as an enemy, but not one to attack until she is attacked first.

She has no strong opinion on him. He is the leader, they follow. Has rarely seen him.

She doesn't like him, and sees him as more of a psychopath than herself, likely due to being open about his actions and desires.

Views him a strong, but overall nothing special. She does enjoy sending her children from the House of Hearth to him to train them.

Actually has a soft spot for her, though does find her unnerving and stronger than she seems.

Views him as one the heartless businessmen and dignitaries with a convenient excuse to remain in the comfort of his homeland.

Views him as disposable as her children are.

No strong opinion. She keeps to herself, so Arlecchino has no reason to like or hate her.

Another person she has a soft spot for. She likes her quite a lot, and enjoys acting almost like a servant, despite Signora being lower ranked.

Views him as one the heartless businessmen and dignitaries with a convenient excuse to remain in the comfort of his homeland. She especially hates him though, due to him putting up a smile despite the problems of Teyvat.

Views him as the youngest and treats him as such. She doesn't really care about him, but tolerates him.

It's unclear how she views her. Perhaps she is loyal to her, perhaps she simply has her own goals with the Tsaritsa's goals that overlap, or perhaps she truly is a wolf in sheep's clothing and sees the Tsaritsa as a mere tool to use and only puts up a mask of loyalty. It's unclear to everyone around her, and even harder to tell if she's telling the truth do to her behavior.
