Della Duck is the mother of Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Her disappearance plays a significant role in the reboot, with Dewey particularly obsessed with finding answers to her fate. Della originally named her sons Jet, Turbo, and Rebel, but Donald renamed them.
Donald Duck is the uncle who initially takes the ducklings under his wing. Due to financial difficulties, he hands over the care of the nephews to Scrooge.
Scrooge McDuck is a great-uncle who has become a true family to the ducklings. They all live together in Ducksburg (a fictional town in California).
Friends and significant characters
Screw the Bolt (Scrooge McDuck's employee) is a brilliant but often self-misunderstood inventor: his devices often don't work as intended. A good-natured genius with a fragile ego, whose passion for inventions both creates problems and saves heroes, he himself interned under Dr. Akita in his youth, but later developed a nasty temperament.
Fenton is good-natured, works for Scrooge, interned with Vint, and became a hero thanks to the duckbot armor Vint created.
Webby Vanderquack (Webby) is the adopted granddaughter of Mrs. Beakley (Scrooge's housekeeper). In the reboot, she is a full-fledged member of the team, actively participating in the adventures. She and Louie work together to find information about Della; Webby and Louie sometimes clash due to his tendency to drag everyone into trouble.
Mrs. Beakley is Scrooge's housekeeper, looks after Webby and indirectly cares for the triplets.
Zigzag McCrack is Scrooge's faithful pilot and often accompanies the family on their travels and adventures.
Peculiarities of relationships in a reboot
The brothers' individuality. Unlike the classic version, where the ducklings had similar personalities, in the reboot each one has a distinct personality:
Billy (red clothes) - organized, logical, interested in science.
Willie (blue clothes) is an inquisitive adventurer driven by the search for his mother.
Dilly (green clothes) - charming, but lazy and greedy; founded a business, loves money.
Modern details. The ducklings have a smartphone.

Billy is the eldest of the triplets, the more responsible and intelligent. He has the mind of Scrooge McDuck.
Willie wants to stand out; he doesn't like being just one of three. He inherited Scrooge's courage. In the classic version, he adored superheroes and dreamed of becoming one himself.
Dilly is the youngest and enjoys being unnoticed. He inherited Scrooge's love of treasure.
At the same time, the authors retained a common feature - all three remain hooligans and pranksters who often play pranks to annoy their Uncle Donald.

Billy - red clothes and red swimming trunks.
Willie - blue clothes and blue swimming trunks.
Dilly - green clothes and green swimming trunks.
All three have distinctively colored clothing, as well as duck-like feet and beaks. Unlike Donald, they don't quack, but they understand his speech.
