Mereoleona Vermillion: The eldest sister and most powerful member of the family. (Mereoleona is a woman with orange hair and blue eyes, also with red eyeliner. She wears the same clothing as Leopold, but in a feminine style.)

The rivalry between Asta and Leopold Vermillion is a friendly and energetic competition to become the future Wizard King, marked by their impulsive personalities and a deep mutual respect despite their noble and commoner origins, respectively. This acts as a catalyst for both of them to improve, although Leopold sometimes gets frustrated by not being taken seriously by the other nobles and by Asta's unique abilities. One person is Yuno, a 16-year-old boy who has wind magic, chosen by a wind spirit who is a small but very strong fairy. Yuno and Leopold met, although their relationship is very complex because they don't see each other much.
Another is Noelle, a girl from a royal family; her family is nicknamed the Silva family, and Noelle and Leopold's relationship is also very complex.
Finally, he also meets Finralt, a man who has spatial magic, but Finralt can make portals where he takes people to places they ask for or wherever Finralt wants. He also has another spell where anyone who touches his magic is sent to another place.

When these people enter the exam, they go through tests. The orders choose each person, and when people pass, they are called "Magic Knights."
