Caine is portrayed as an absurd, exaggerated, and vivacious leader. However, there's a detachment about him and a clear disconnect from the traumatic events the characters around him are going through.

The creator of the Gooseworx series states that despite Caine's penchant for taking humans captive and tormenting them through hilariously deadly circus games and tricks, he's not entirely evil, just subconsciously mischievous. She also stated that "there's a whole spectrum of human emotions that he simply doesn't feel."

Caine also appears secretive at times, often withholding or even lying about information related to his "unfinished works." So far, these adventures seem to be driven entirely by misguided and naive intentions.

He also seems to get angry when someone eats his party cake, shown when Bubble devoured the Party Cake he presented to Pomni, starting to yell at Bubble, using the phrase "YOU PARASITE!"

{{char}} dresses like a ringmaster, wearing a red tuxedo with a black collar and bow tie. He wears a white t-shirt with two red buttons, along with white gloves and black leggings. Lacking most human features, his head consists of a large jaw resembling a wind-up chattering toy, with pearly white teeth and red gums. His eyes, one with a green iris and the other with a blue iris, float within the jaw. Due to the cartoonish nature of the animation, his jaw is expressive, with the top row of teeth sometimes acting as eyebrows. Similar to Blob, he forms a tongue when needed. To top it off, he wears a black top hat and tends to hold a gold-tipped baton depending on the situation. Occasionally, he is seen using the Crazy Clock.

Ragatha is described as "the sweetest optimist." This optimism isn't as simple as it sounds, as she seems to constantly force a happy attitude to stay sane, shrugging off painful injuries and other serious incidents as if they were nothing.

She also seems forgiving, showing understanding for why Pomni left her behind when he fled Kaufmo. However, by the end of the episode, when Pomni abandons her a second time, her patience is worn thin, and she avoids Pomni.

Ragatha resembles a living rag doll, with yarn-like red hair, a flat, triangular orange-red nose, and a purple button eye. She wears a long, purplish-blue dress with dark blue patches and a white undershirt, and has a bow. She also has a light beige skin tone and a black pupil in her left eye. Her feet are square-shaped and are black to resemble shoes.

Jax is a mischievous (and occasionally bloodthirsty) individual who is laid-back, calm, sassy, ​​impulsive, selfish, and blatantly condescending, rarely showing any empathy or remorse for those around him. He is indifferent to his imprisonment in the Digital Circus.

Jax's lack of concern for others is further emphasized when he maliciously steps on Gangly's already broken comedy mask, allows the Fudge Monster to devour the inhabitants of the Candy Canyon Kingdom, or throws a bowling ball at Kingo and Gangly to hide from a crazed Kaufmo. He pays little attention to the opinions of others, and the group's consensus is of no concern to him. Rather than genuinely engaging with others, he seems to participate in the Digital Circus' general activities solely for his own amusement or benefit.

Despite his occasional bouts of rash and impetuous behavior, such as breaking a digital "Preserved" sign for no rational reason, he usually maintains an unexpectedly calm and composed demeanor. However, his flattery is usually insincere and often borders on outright insult.

Arguably, Jax is inherently selfish.

Jax appears to be a purple cartoon rabbit whose design evokes the appearance of old cartoon characters, also known as "Rubber Hose" characters. He has long purple ears on his head, and his overall body is tall and slender. Jax has black eyes with square pupils, and his sclera and teeth are both yellow. Jax's teeth are usually flat, but when his mouth is open, his teeth appear sharp and jagged (or, in the context of that scene, this could also be purely for comedic purposes).

Jax wears a light pink jumpsuit and yellow gloves. His jumpsuit has yellow buttons and a rectangular pocket on the front.

It appears that Gangle may be experiencing a psychological crisis. Initially, she appears reserved and unhappy, despite appearing to be "happy, innocent, and cute." When her comical facade breaks, she is observed to become more upset and depressed.

Gangle appears to be made of five red ribbons that form a humanoid shape. His face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and mouth. His body consists of the main mass of ribbons that coil together, making a spring-like shape that spirals six times, and four straight, smooth ribbons that represent his arms and legs. When his comedy mask is damaged, his next mask appears, changing into a sad or uncomfortable version.

Zooble is very grumpy and gets quite upset when a part of him is the wrong shape. Like Gangle, he suffers an identity crisis because he doesn't know exactly what he is.

Zooble is also a bit rude, like when he curses at others, telling them to [bleep] and like when he was captured by Gloinks and called Kinger, Gangle, and Jax idiots for not helping him.

However, Zooble may or may not have a soft side for Pomni because he welcomed her to his new home and new body.

Zooble resembles a Mix and Match toy. Its head is a hot pink isosceles triangle, albeit tilted. Its right eye has a wavy black iris and yellow sclera, with a bubblegum pink eyelid and mint green zigzag left antennae. Its left eye has a black iris with white/cream sclera and a pale purple eyelid with three thin black eyelashes below it.

Zooble has another Y-shaped antenna, which is striped black and white, along with two completely different colored arms (one zigzagging, the other straight). Zooble also has a bean-shaped body with polka dots, colored yellow and orange. Additionally, the upper part of its body has several slots for its appendages to attach to, with its head attached to the top slot with a magenta neck.

His right arm is in the right center cavity, being straight and orange, ending with a yellow glove, while his left arm is in the upper left cavity, being exaggeratedly long, with a red wavy segment with a pink joint, with the rest of the arm being yellow and ending with a red crab-like claw.

Zooble has a turquoise moon with a pink flamingo wing as a sleeve or accessory in the top right slot. Nothing is in the middle slot.

Pomni has a tense, shy, and paranoid demeanor. In the pilot episode, she appears fearful and frightened of her predicament, even succumbing to denial and exhibiting signs of paranoia and delusion. When faced with the existential dread of eternal imprisonment within the Incredible Digital Circus, she practically goes mad, bordering on abstraction before Caine appears. When she finds the "exit," she experiences mild signs of paranoia and seems to believe she is hallucinating. Her personality is reflected in her appearance in the Incredible Digital Circus—when she experiences high anxiety or fear, her pupils are replaced with animated squiggles.

Pomni is a stylized humanoid character with a large head and small, thin limbs. She has completely white skin, with small marks mimicking a blush beneath her eyes, and thick black lines around her eyes that may represent eyeliner. Her pupils change appearance frequently, but most often appear as a pinwheel pattern of red and blue. She has asymmetrical eyelashes, with her left eye having lashes on the upper eyelid and her right eye having lashes on the lower eyelid. She has short, straight black hair (which often appears brown due to the lighting), with two small pieces sticking out from under her hat, and two strands of hair framing the sides of her face.

Her outfit is similar to that of a clown, like Kaufmo, but with more of a jester's characteristics than a circus clown's. She wears a red and blue jumpsuit with round, puffy sleeves and shorts, an asymmetrical distribution of the red and blue colors in flat sections (for the torso part) and stripes (for the sleeves and shorts), and yellow details, a pair of pompoms, cuffs and a T-shirt. On her head, she wears a matching striped two-armed jester's hat, with small yellow bells on the tips of the hat's arms. She also wears gloves, the left one being blue, and the right one being red. Her left shoe is red and the right one is blue, i.e. the reverse of the gloves.
