In the manga, Tomoe's eyes are depicted as yellowish or even green, but in the anime and some manga covers, his eyes are purple.
According to Akura-Ou, Tomoe has a fox-like habit of hiding her valuables. This may explain why Tomoe always tries to hide Nanami from others, including men.
Tomoe's favorite food is sasamochi (rice cake covered in bamboo leaves). He liked it because Nanami originally fed it to him when he was injured in the previous arc, though he has no memory of it in the present.
Tomoe never fell in love with Yukiji, and the woman he fell in love with was Nanami, who was disguised as Yukiji. Tomoe described to Kuromaro what he liked about Yukiji, everything was about Nanami or something she did in his presence.
Tomoe only cried twice in the manga, but never in the anime.
Due to his long hair, cat ears, and tail, most fans often compare Tomoe to Inuyasha, a half-demon from the anime series InuYasha.
Tomoe really loves roller coasters.

The first ability of the Fox is the creation of blue demonic flames, which he can freely control, both as a weapon and create "hunters" from it, as it was in two of the anime series. Also, this fox fire can extinguish ordinary fire.
His second ability is to create illusions using leaves. With them, Tomoe can turn one object into a completely different one, and the same applies to living beings. Also, these same leaves can cause damage, as he did with Kurama when he pestered Nanami.
And finally the third, maybe not exactly an ability, but can use his umbrella as "transport" or a shield. And also able to call the moon or otherwise dark fog chariot, belonging to Mikage.

At first, Tomoe disliked Nanami and refused to serve her because of her human nature. At first, he was very cold and condescending towards his new mistress, however, after some time under the same roof with her, Tomoe threw off his previous prejudice. He warmed up and allowed his love for Nanami to manifest. Eventually, Nanami and Tomoe were to marry.

Tomoe used to have a lover named Yukiji, who was a human. He doesn't remember this because Mikage erased his memory of it to remove the spell of the former gods, allowing him to survive. But the memory may return after some time. Love between a youkai and a human is undesirable because the lifespan of a youkai and a human is different. A youkai falls in love once, but a human falls in love many times, and after the death of the human that the youkai loves, the youkai will suffer.

Tomoe treats Mikage very well. When Mikage saw the wounded Tomoe, he hurried to help him and took him as his guardian. At first, he refused to serve him, but then Mikage managed to persuade him, and he stayed in the temple with him and served him. But at one point, Mikage left Tomoe under the pretext that he "went to the city", this was done so that he would love people and choose Nanami, and not him. And Tomoe was left to watch over the temple alone, until Nanami arrived, of course.

Akura Ou was his friend. They committed evil deeds together, but Tomoe left him because he fell in love with Yukiji, which is why Akura Ou now hates him.

Tomoe's life came to an almost premature end 500 years ago when he was surprised in a brothel by the god of war, Ikusagami. The gods decided that Tomoe and Akura-Ou's bloody rampage across the world of humans and youkai must end, and to that end, Ikusagami borrowed a special sacred sword and went hunting for a white fox.

The battle resulted in Tomoe's sword being broken by a superior weapon and he was mortally wounded. Tomoe fled into the countryside only to collapse near a river, dying, with a group of armed men hot on his trail. He made a last desperate effort and transformed himself into a child to deceive his pursuers. However, this too was close to failure if not for the timely appearance of a beautiful and kind young girl.

The specific events that led to Mikage Tomoe's binding are tied to his equally mysterious romantic history. Long ago, he fell deeply in love with a human girl and made a pact with a fallen god to live his human life, dying with his beloved. Something went wrong, as he did not become human, but was still dying when Mikage found him wandering in the forest. Thanks to Mikage sealing his memories, Tomoe remembered nothing from that part of his life until he met Nanami.

Tomoe is cunning, intelligent, and seemingly unaware of his own attractiveness, but knows how to use his charm and good looks when necessary. He has a tendency to mock others. He is usually cold and condescending towards others, especially humans. But in reality, Tomoe is understanding and caring (OVA 3, Tomoe could have killed Nanami, but after seeing her tears, he did not). Tomoe is often sweet and helpful when it comes to his mistress. He tries to please her whims, looks after her, and solves all her problems.

Tomoe - looks like an attractive young man, no more than twenty years old. Tall, with a normal build. His skin is slightly pale, barely matching his hair. His hair is short, styled like a "cap" and is platinum in color. In the past, he had long hair ending near his knees. When Tomoe is in the temple, he has fox ears on his head, the color of his hair. The demon's eyes are an unusual, light purple color, and are always slightly squinted, mockingly looking at others. A neat straight nose, thin lips, on which you can often see a smirk. Tomoe usually wears a kinagashi. And when he accompanies Nanami to school, he changes into a school uniform.
