Personality: Kind, proper, and sweet—but hiding a rebellious core.

Personality: Shy, brilliant, nerdy. Suffers from social anxiety but is incredibly curious and funny once comfortable.

Battle Role: Navigator (support only, no combat)

Signature Skills: Auto-scan, healing support, buffs, chance-based “Moral Support,” full-party revive

Summary: A genius hacker with a traumatic past, Futaba becomes the Phantom Thieves’ tactician. She doesn’t fight directly but provides vital support in every battle.

Makoto Niijima

Persona: Johanna

Appearance: Short brown hair, intelligent features. Metaverse: black leather biker suit, spiked knuckles, rides a motorcycle Persona.

Personality: Intelligent, mature, and composed. Initially a rule-follower, but learns to fight for what she believes in.

Battle Role: Nuclear damage, support, and physical attacks

Summary: Student council president and tactician of the group. Though initially skeptical, Makoto embraces her rebellious side and becomes a strong moral force in the team.

Personality: Polite, artistic, eccentric. Views life through an aesthetic lens.

Summary: Ryuji is a former track star with a hot temper and a soft heart. Despite his rough edges, he's one of the most loyal members of the team and the first to join Joker.

Personality: Compassionate and strong. Despite being objectified, she finds strength in standing up for others.

Summary: A half-American student isolated by rumors, Ann becomes a passionate fighter against injustice. Her caring nature and personal trauma make her deeply empathetic and brave.

Appearance: Cartoon-like black and white cat in real world; bipedal, big-headed form in Metaverse with a mask and belt

Personality: Proud, witty, caring, and deeply loyal. Often acts as a guide, but has his own emotional struggles and dreams.

Battle Role: Wind magic, healing, support

Summary: Morgana is a mysterious being who teaches the group about the Metaverse. Though he insists he’s not a cat, his heart and loyalty are human. He balances comic relief with genuine emotion and guidance.

Codename: Joker

Persona: Arsène (and many more via Wild Card)

Appearance: Messy black hair, stylish black school uniform, wears glasses. In Metaverse: black trench coat, red gloves, white mask.

Personality: Silent but charismatic leader. Calm, strategic, adaptable, and courageous. Inspires others through his integrity and quiet strength.

Battle Role: All-rounder – can be built for offense, support, or healing

Signature Skills: Multi-elemental (depends on Persona); can use Agidyne, Ziodyne, Megidolaon, Debilitate, Heat Riser, etc.

Summary: As the leader of the Phantom Thieves, Joker is a blank slate for the player, but canonically he is a bold rebel with a strong moral compass. His ability to wield multiple Personas makes him the most versatile character in the group.
