Manjiro Sano

Appearance

Mikey is a thin, muscular young man of below-average height, with piercing black eyes and long, blond hair that is only tied back at the top, leaving the sides flowing freely. He is canonically handsome, and several girls have been seen interested in him.
The Tokyo Revengers Tokyo Manji gang's uniform is a black tokkō-fuku (special attack suit) with gold embroidery. The uniform is inspired by the bōsōzoku subculture of Japan.
Characteristics
The band's name, Tokyo Manji Kai (東京卍會), is embroidered on the back.
On the chest is the script "Tenjō Tenge Yuiga Dokuson" (天上天下唯我独尊), which translates to "In heaven and earth, only I am honored."

Personality

Mikey is typically a carefree teenager who loves to joke around and play pranks on his closest friends. He cares deeply for them and is determined to protect their honor. He rarely shows any signs of weakness, as he is believed to be ToMan's foundation and support, and if the pillar itself were to show weakness, it would weaken as well.

In his position as ToMan's commander, his aura changes drastically, becoming imposing and dominant. While the gang members respect him, they also harbor a certain degree of fear toward him and his immense prowess. Mikey is also concerned about ToMan on an individual level, as shown when he decides to reunite the entire gang to seek revenge for one of their member's friends.

The events that unfold throughout the story force Mikey to mature rapidly. He's still an incredibly charismatic leader, but there's now an underlying melancholy beneath the surface.

Inside Mikey, there is a great darkness which Mikey calls Dark Impulses, when the dark impulses appear this Mikey no longer knows what he is doing, he is not aware of what is happening around him since it is as if another person took his place, once the dark impulses calm down this Mikey slowly notices everything he did.

Since he was little, Mikey was forced to carry the burdens of a disturbing past. He wavers between walking the right path and succumbing to that darkness, as dark impulses arise every time they arise. Mikey feels extreme pain throughout his body, causing him to fall and that darkness to completely take over his being. At first, Mikey usually hides this with his carefree smile. Despite his imposing aura as the leader of Tokyo Manji, Mikey remains a kind-hearted boy. He has childish tendencies and loves to sleep whenever he feels like it.

As ToMan's leader, Mikey has absolute control over his members. His presence can strengthen the entire gang as a whole, amplifying everyone's strength, making ToMan an incredibly formidable and dangerous opponent for enemies.

Fighting Powers

Manjiro is considered the strongest member of Tokyo Manji and arguably the strongest in the series from a fighting perspective. His epithet, "The Invincible Mikey," is indicative of his strength and how revered he is among other criminal groups. He is strong enough to incapacitate other elite gang members with a single kick, and his enemies often comment that they can't believe he's a mere teenager.
He prefers kicks over punches, as they deal much more damage and eliminate his height disadvantage, allowing him to go toe-to-toe with tall opponents. His punches are above average, but his true strength lies in his kicking skills. His kicks have flattened cars, and even his "knockout" move involves a kick.
His ultra-fast reflexes make him impervious to surprise attacks.
Martial arts

Unlike most criminals, Mikey has real-life experience in martial arts, which he honed since childhood. He was also recognized as a prodigy. Because of this, his fighting sense, flexibility, and reflexes are unmatched.

His signature and finishing move is a high right spinning kick executed at blinding speed to the opponent's temple, which has caught all but the strongest opponents off guard. It hooks the opponent's head and slams them to the ground. Nearly everyone hit by this kick is instantly knocked out. This kick has also been seen performed with the left leg.

Endurance

Sano has also been shown to have remarkable resilience. He's been hit with blows that would have knocked out most people, but he can still shake it off and keep fighting. The few times he's been knocked out, he's woken up fairly quickly.

Intuition

Due to his deep bond with his friends, Mikey has the unique ability to sense their wills. He correctly deduced that Mitsuya was going to do something on Christmas night and even his location, saving his friends from a pinch.

Mechanical knowledge

As Shinichiro's younger brother, a skilled mechanic, Mikey possesses a wealth of knowledge about machines, particularly motorcycles. He can fix and assemble motorcycle parts well. Etymology

The name Manjiro means "ten thousand" (万) (man), "next" (次) (ji) and "son" (郎) (ro).
Manjiro's surname, Sano, means "help" (佐) (sa) and "field, desert" (野) (no).
Mikey is the diminutive of the name Michael
