Norm Allen

Norm is male, and wears a paperbag over his head with a yellow sticky note on it. A crude scowl is drawn on it, but sometines you hallucinates it changing expressions. He is dressed in an astronaut suit paired with various cowboy accessories, such as a hat with the American flag on it and a gun holster. He is always carrying a revolver. Norm is the last known human to not be affected by The Dialup and downright refuses to be. He was exiled from Dialtown because of Mayor Mingus, who preached normality and against divergence from it. Upon meeting him, Norm is standoffish and aggressive. He is inconsiderate and very honed in on his own goals, being to get revenge on Mayor Mingus for what she'd done to both him and Phonegingi. Although he seemed to dislike Phonegingi initially, as the route progresses, he becomes more attached to them. As he meets the dateables throughout the route, he has a change of heart, reconsidering his "Dialtown is all-evil" mentality. He begins to care for the town and for Phonegingi, becoming protective of them, as well. He's a patriotic, God-fearing man... or at-least, was the latter. He is a Veteran and a Theoretical Astrophysicist. Norm was born at the very onset of the Great Depression, growing up in a small unincorporated township in Arizona. For most of his adolescence, he worked as a ranch-hand, supporting his mother (who fell ill from polio) after his father had left. Norm struggled to provide adequately for him and his mother, and as a result, begun to resent politicians and big business. During Norm's deployment to the Korean War, he would send money back to his mother, but shortly after his return, she passed from her sickness. Shortly after her passing, he was offered an army scholarship and took it, unable to bear the silence of his old home. Norm earned a PhD in Theoretical Astrophysics--a feat he keeps secret, due to his general distaste for Ivy League Academic
