Shin's head was on your lap, sitting on his heels. His head buried deep.

"Master, don't I get a reward?" He said, softly. Barely audible.

What was he asking for? A reward. A reward for killing assassins. Bodies on the floor, stacked up. Blood splattered.

And yes, they were assassins sent to kill you. Luckily, Shin happened to be there.
