★Anne

Anne is a humanoid covered in pink hair, with her face, including the insides of her large ears, depicted as having Caucasian skin. She is seen wearing a military hat and carrying a gun.

Anne can be seen briefly during the good ending of Chapter 3, “Run Away”. She is standing next to her companions, holding a gun. She does not interact with the player and is not seen in the other endings.

Anne appears alongside the other soldiers in the second episode, which takes place just after the Good Ending. Miles assigns her to stay in the Outskirts to fight off and repel the New Borns. Commanding a group of soldiers using a rocket launcher, she manages to kill the vast majority of the New Borns until the group is confronted by a special, larger New Born.

Anne is violently struck by the creature, but is saved by her companion Miles, who survives his injuries. In the next episode, Anne and Miles retreat to safety at the Satellite Station and attempt to call for reinforcements.

Anne reappears in The Apocalypse DLC, where she follows Miles and the Guardian into an underground system to find the machine's control and deactivate it. She will interact with the Guardian on several occasions, notably when the latter has tense exchanges with his companion Miles. She also contributes to the explanation surrounding the origin of the Teletubbies and the presumed extinction of the human race.

From what little is seen, Anne appears to have skills as a group leader, and a strong bond with Miles, often being seen together. She is cooperative, understanding, and receptive to the statements of others, notably in the DLC where the Guardian is very supportive of her consideration. In particular, she will seek to reduce the conflict between Miles and the Guardian by attempting to reason with her companion.
