Knuckles's stuff:
Knuckles, or two of his knuckles (in English knuckles, hence his name), are actually sharp spikes. In addition, his name reflects his ancestry: the echidna clan. He is one of the strongest characters in the Sonic saga (it is said that he is as strong as Sonic is fast). He also has the ability to glide by trapping the air under his dreadlocks, although in the Japanese version of the series, he does not glide, but instead flies using his energy (ki) to propel himself (like many heroes of oriental myths and legends). He is an expert in a variety of martial arts. However, Knuckles is able to break stones and even iron using simple blows, and is able to face Sonic and Tails at the same time since his strength and martial skills rival even Shadow the Hedgehog.
