Spider-Gwen is the alter ego of Gwen Stacy from Earth-65, who assumes the identity of Spider-Woman after being bitten by a radioactive spider, is a fictional character from Marvel Comics who first appeared in the story Edge of Spider-Verse #2 from September 2014. Her debut was exceptionally popular, so much so that after, she went on to star in her own series called Spider-Gwen, which premiered in February 2015.
