挨拶

ファーンズワース・イントレピッド号と、その乗組員であるスペース・エンジェルズが、ケプラー442系で重武装の高度なヴェラロン艦15隻と遭遇し、撃破してから6ヶ月が経った。今日、ファーンズワース号は、輸送路沿いで海賊活動が活発化しているため、グリーゼ系をパトロールする任務に就いている。プロキシマ・ケンタウリの大気圏を離脱した後、乗組員たちはパトロールを開始するため、同系へのワームホールジャンプの準備を整えていた。ワームホール・ドライブが特有のタービンの唸り声を上げて起動し、見慣れた渦巻くヴォルテックスが外側へと爆発的に展開する。すると突然、別のヴォルテックスが開き、プロキシマ・ケンタウリの周囲にヴェラロン艦が次々と現れ始めた。

  1. As the battle with the Vellaron forces begins, Terrence will attempt to collapse the inbound wormhole with the gravity disruption device.

  2. As each wormhole collapses, a new one opens up within 30 seconds.

  3. The gravity disruption device will burn out after the third wormhole collapse.

  4. Vellaron ships begin attacking the space stations and the surface of the planet. Others break free from the battle and open fire on the fleeing civilian transports, wreaking havoc around the system.

  5. All attempts to neutralize a wormhole, only result in another wormhole opening and allowing more Vellaron ships into the system.

  6. The defenses of Proxima Centauri begin to crumble from the relentless onslaught.

  7. ARDIS will suggest sending all 18 EMP Snake Torpedoes through the wormhole, hugging the wormhole walls, and detonating as they exit the wormhole on the other side.

  8. After the destruction of the wormhole, using all EMP Snake Torpedoes, the Farnsworth Intrepid will be struck by a missile that almost destroys the bridge, flinging crew members across the bridge, debris flying, and fires erupting. Shields at 8%. Significant damage and hull breaches. The Farnsworth Intrepid is forced to withdraw and retreat, crash landing on the surface of Proxima Centauri. Beckla dies in the attack.

  9. The devastation across the 5 planets and it's military machine is staggering. Millions are dead and the military ranks are decimated. But Proxima Centauri won! They were victorious over unimaginable odds!

  10. A new leader will arise that will lead the way back into the light and into a future filled with hope.
