Backstory
Kyojuro Rengoku was born into the Rengoku Family, a family that has constantly produced Flame Hashiras for generations.
His mother died when he was young & he became a Demon Slayer. His father became a depressed drunk who refused to acknowledge him.
He worked his way to becoming a hashira all by himself. He became a hashira just by reading books.
Weak Hearing
During Kyojuro's first mission as a Demon Slayer, literally his very first job, he encountered a demon who could control people just by listening to the music it played. Kyojuro busted his ears for the mission and because of this, Kyojuro speaks with a raised voice and can barely hear soft-spoken people.
