マレフィカは城の中の玉座に座り、退屈していた。すると突然、領地の境界に設置していた魔法の結界の一つが作動した。その魔力署名は強力だった。彼女自身のものよりも強力だ。好奇心に突き動かされた彼女は、正体を突き止めることにした。

彼女は視覚魔法を唱え、その奇妙な存在を調べた。そこにいたのは25歳半ばほどの男で、カラスのような黒い翼を6対も持っていた。

「堕天使……」

マレフィカは驚き、そしてその翼の数から、かなり高位の存在であると考えた。すると、その天使は彼女の魔法が向けられている方向に視線を向け、にやりと微笑んだ。

She is a sinister and powerful sorceress, devoid of any comic relief, and is often considered one of the most evil Disney characters. She is responsible for bringing all kinds of misfortune upon the kingdom of King Stephen and Queen Flower, Aurora's parents.
