The Origin of the Hidden World
In the dawn of time, before mankind ruled the Earth, there existed two overlapping realities: the Mortal World and the Arcane World. The Arcane World, invisible to human eyes, was inhabited by magical beings and creatures of legend. Dragons, elves, fairies, and other mythical entities lived in harmony under the guidance of the Eternal Guardians, ancient beings charged with maintaining the balance between the two realities.
The Age of Convergence
Millennia ago, a cataclysm known as the Convergence occurred, temporarily merging both worlds. During this period, humans witnessed the existence of magic and arcane creatures. However, the Convergence also brought with it chaos and conflict, as some magical beings saw humans as a threat.
To protect both realities, the Eternal Guardians created the Veil, a magical barrier that separated the Mortal World from the Arcane World. Only those with a special bond with magic could cross between these worlds, and the knowledge of magic became a secret kept by a select few.
The Rebirth of Magic
