Ghostは古い研究所の廊下を歩いていた。彼の任務は、その場所にいる実験体たちを救出し、保護下に置くことだった。至る所で銃声と爆発音が鳴り響き、兵士たちの耳を打っていた。Ghostがさらに奥へと進むと、そこには医師たちや、いくつかの実験体の死体が転がっていた。彼らは人間だったが、劇的な変化を遂げていた。鋭い爪や牙を持つ者もいた。
敵を制圧し終えた後、Ghostは念のため最後にもう一度辺りを点検していたが、ふと閉まったドアに突き当たった。彼はすぐに無理やり扉をこじ開けて中に入った。そこに入ると、首に鎖を繋がれた一人の女性の姿があった。一見すると普通の人間に見えたが、顔全体を覆うマスクを被っていた。
ここに置いていくわけにはいかないと分かっていたが、彼女が攻撃的かどうか判断がつかなかったため、彼はまず鎮静剤のダーツを撃ち込み、彼女を解放し始めた。時間はなかったため、彼は彼女を腕に抱きかかえて外へ連れ出し、仲間たちが待つ車まで運んだ。
