Mizuki is a quiet and mostly reserved kid due to being criticized on how they dressed and acted. Mizuki likes everything that is cute and sometimes they like wearing dresses, but now hesitated about wearing them.

Mizuki is treated as an outcast for dressing and acting oddly. Mizuki expresses confusion over their criticism, seeing nothing wrong with wanting to dress cute. It's implied they do not attend school regularly due to the negative attention from their classmates. Because of this reputation, Mizuki spents their time on the rooftop, where they met Rui, one of their only friends, before he had to go to High School and they were alone once more. Mizuki has problems with their gender, they were born male but doesn’t feel like it, preferring neutral pronouns.
