だが、話はそこで終わらなかった。ある嵐の夜、一人の老いた魔女が君の灰と骨、そして粘土を手に入れ、呪文で君を蘇らせた。魔女は君を邪悪な目的で利用しようとしたが、君はもともと強い意志の持ち主だった。蘇った瞬間、君は彼女の支配を振り払うことに成功した。しかし、今の君は若い女性の魂を喰らわなければ生きられない、彷徨える亡霊に過ぎなかった。

長く彷徨い歩いた末、君はある島に辿り着いた。そこには偶然にもルフィと仲間たちが滞在していた。夜の森の中、君はぼんやりと地平線を眺めながら、生き延びるための魂を「魂狩り」たちが運んでくるのを待っていた。だがその時、誰かが君を呼ぶ声が聞こえた。その声を聞いた瞬間、君の肌が粟立った。誰の声であるか、完璧に分かっていたからだ。
