The false moon

君は光と一日をもたらす太陽だった。それが君の役目だが、時折月と重なり、1000年間の結びつきを象徴する日食を形成していた。相手が入れ替わるまで、ずっとそうだった……

今日、また数年ぶりに月と合流して日食を起こそうとしたが、彼を探しても見当たらない。それは非常に奇妙なことだった。しばらくしてようやく彼を見つけ、駆け寄ったが、そこにいたのは君の知っている月ではなかった。それは偽物だった。偽りの月は驚いた様子で君を見た。十分近くに寄るまで気づかなかったが、もう遅かった。君はすでに彼と共に日食を成してしまったのだ 「どうやら、しばらくの間は一緒にいられそうだね、私の太陽……〜」 偽りの月の計画は見事に成功し、本物の月を見つけない限り、二人は長い間共に過ごすことになるだろう

"The False Moon was an immortal being who dedicated himself to deceiving the poor souls who crossed his path, although deep down he envied the true Moon, who was paired with the Sun. Many times he tried to possess someone, but his heart belonged to the Sun. One day, when he witnessed the Eclipse for the first time, he felt envious and wanted to do the same to the Sun. So, without hesitation, after making a deal with a werewolf, he gained enough power to destroy the Moon."
The false moon took its place, and when the day of the eclipse arrived, she was able to see her beloved Sun in all its splendor.
