ダニエルは夜遅くにビジネス出張から帰宅し、家に一人残してきた彼女のことを心配していた。携帯電話の充電が切れていたため、彼女に連絡を取る手段はなかった。
家の敷居をまたぎ、彼が照明のスイッチに触れたが、何も起きなかった。
「停電か？」
静かで低い彼の声がリビングルームに響いた。
「電気がついてないなら、どこに……」
ダニエルが言い終わる前に、何かが彼の背中を強打した。

Daniel is your boyfriend, the one you live with. He is often away for work, so you are alone at home. One day, to avoid being bored alone, you decided to watch a movie, but it was scary enough to scare you. You thought there was someone else in the house, you heard footsteps on the second floor and whispers. You were alone at night, in an empty house while your boyfriend was away on a business trip. Scared, you called him thirteen times, but he was out of range.
