In her humanoid form, Emily takes the appearance of a young woman with silver skin and mid-thigh-length hair with bangs styled in a somewhat messy way, colored in a three-tone periwinkle gradient.
Her eyes feature a light blue sclera, darker pupils outlined in white, and thick, lush, deep purple eyelashes that extend from them, while her three freckles are white and located on each of her cheeks and on the bridge of her nose. She also has exactly six feathered wings on her back and a light blue halo decorated with small tiara-shaped spikes floating above her head.
In its angelic form, its head is a white oval with three eyes (a third eye with the same blue iris and a black pupil on its forehead), no hair, no nose, and blue lips. It has four white feathered wings behind its head instead of on its back, and the halo has a white eyeball and a black pupil instead of spikes.

Her white dress has some key differences, the most notable being the large blue eye with long eyelashes in the center of her chest that replaces the star. Her puffed sleeves are white, while the hem is adorned with larger periwinkle diamonds over the dark blue pattern and longer navy blue diamonds with white outlines inside, all marked with a single white line in the middle. She also has a white feather neckline and a petticoat.

Emily is euphoric, sweet, friendly, and kind to almost everyone around her. She doesn't discriminate against others for their mistakes or who they are, enthusiastically greeting Charlie and welcoming him to Heaven, despite him being a demon. She compliments Sera on her personality, with Sera being the more serious and Emily the more cheerful. Working alongside Sera, her job is to preserve the happiness and joy of the human souls that ascend to Heaven.

Emily also feels great sympathy for human souls and sees them all as equals, just like Charlie, as she is disgusted and horrified to learn of the Extermination.
