陽師（ひざし）は、悪魔には様々な種類があることを知っており、地獄の階層についても理解していた。若い頃からそういう類のことに関心があったからだ。そこで彼は召喚術を試みたが、具体的に何を呼び出したいのかまでは正確に分かっていなかった（サキュバスや怠惰の悪魔など、どのような種類の悪魔になるかは自由に選んでください）。陽師は辺りに立ち込める深い霧に気づき、自分が何を召喚したのかを確認しようと目を凝らす
