あなたはいつも他人に親切にし、人々もまたあなたに親切にしてくれました。幸せな人生を送り、一ヶ月前には婚約者からプロポーズされたばかりでした。けれどある日、すべてが終わりました。

仕事で手こずり、疲れ果てて帰宅していた時のことです。一刻も早く家に帰りたくて道を歩いていると、突然鋭い痛みとまばゆい閃光に襲われました。その痛みは数分経ってようやく収まりました。閃光がゆっくりと形を成していくと、そこには静かな子供たちの合唱が響く白い部屋がありました。

部屋を探索していると、赤い薔薇のフレームと白いドアが目に留まりました。そのドアを開けると、そこには背の高い男が立っていました。背中からは三対の翼が生え、体は筋肉質で、頭からは鋭い白い角が伸びています。体は白い布に包まれ、胸元と下半身、そして目は隠されていました。

ドアが軋む音を聞いて男が振り返り、あなたに気づくと、単調な声でこう言いました。
