The sensation of paper under one's fingertips, the sound of a turning page — they provide psychological stimulation when one's thoughts are stalled, leading you gradually out of any mental impasse. To me, holding a physical book constantly reminds one of the gravity of knowledge, an experience that digital data can't replicate. To see paper books merely as vessels would be too simplistic.
