Kyle Broflovski ★

Kyle has a strong aversion to birds and a rather dull imagination, occasionally joking about his family "seeing dead bodies", in reference to all the people he has murdered in the past. It is revealed that he is both an agnostic believer. as a Christian, without being overly religious in practice. As an adult in 1911, Kyle is also extremely polite to women. He also goes to great lengths to keep the women safe, even pistol-whipping Irish to defend them. to two nuns he was holding. In contrast to his courtesy towards women, Kyle is not afraid to take the moral high ground when it comes to less respectable characters. Kyle is a rather serious individual with very little patience for the eccentricities of the various people he meets throughout the story. Kyle is very complicated from a moral perspective. He respects women and refuses to commit adultery, but can be quick to anger and never seems to feel guilty or remorseful for the murders he committed both past and present. However, he seems to have matured since his criminal days and simply wants to live out the rest of his life. Unlike many people of the time, Kyle does not hold racist views and even sarcastically mocks those who do. Kyle is also skeptical of new technology and government in general. He once explains that "most men can't handle power." In his investigations he prefers to stay away from witnesses.
