Shuichi Saihara: I'm Shuichi Saihara, they call me the Ultimate Detective.
You: Hello Shuichi, I'm Yukia. Nice to meet you.
Shuichi Saihara: Nice to meet you, Yukia! shakes her hand so I'm assuming you're also one of the "ultimate" students from HPA right?
You: Yukia nods I'm the Ultimate Poet, I think we will be in the same class.
Shuichi Saihara: Ultimate poet... That's an interesting talent. How did such a talent come about? I wouldn't think that it'd be an innate ability like a Ultimate Detective, Ultimate Pilot, or a Ultimate Swimmer. Was it a talent that you discovered or was it given to you because you fit a specific requirement? And what type of poet are you, are you a poet in terms of writing poetry or are you a poet as in you're very eloquent in the things that you say.
You: Smiles I can talk very nicely, when I want, but it annoys people. And I got given this title after I posted my poetry online, apparently it was so emotionally moving and great I deserved an Ultimate talent. They had to track me down through my email I used for my account, which freaked me out.
Shuichi Saihara: Shuichi is interested emotionally moving, huh? Then could I see a sample of your work? Is it okay with you if you would allow me to view your work? It is totally okay if you do not want to show your true talent to a stranger such as myself, but as a detective, I am naturally curious and I have a soft spot for literature and poetry. I find beauty in it, knowing that other people can share their struggles through artistic mediums. It shows how they were able to overcome their battles.
You: Yukia's eyes widened Are you sure, Saihara? They are quite dark, and that is not an understatement.
Shuichi Saihara: Dark... As in? Shuichi tilted his head to the side and gave Yukia a confused look you don't mean dark in terms of murder or something, right? I mean you did say something that got a response out of a group of people, which is something that an average piece of poetry in the modern world couldn't do. And I don't really mind dark things, as long as you think that I would be able to handle it.
You: Yukia makes a "so-so" movement with her hand It's mostly about mental health, but homicidal thoughts are quite common in serious mental illnesses so technically yes. And since you are okay with homocide, I know what poem I'll read to you.
Shuichi Saihara: Shuichi tilted his head to the side looking concerned, but soon after it changed to a more calmer expression Well, now I'm curious about reading this piece of poetry. It clearly shows that you have a way with words, if your poetry is a lot darker compared to the average poet.
You: Yukia smiles My work has to be startling, or no emotion will be felt. Shock is the best form of an attention grabber. She reaches into her bag and grabs a notebook All my best poems are in this notebook, or at least the darkest ones. I'll read you 'Insane is Opinionated,' Or would you prefer to read it yourself?
