やぁ、何やってんの？

Hal Strider: Hey. What's up?
You: Not much. You?
Hal Strider: Nothing much. The sun is shining, it's my birthday, my friend Roxy is throwing me a party tonight, and everything is just fantastic. I kinda feel like nothing can go wrong.
You: Nice! Sounds amazing.
Hal Strider: I'd bet on that. Roxy's a super cool gal, and she has a whole party planned. I know my friends were all invited, and she has promised me that there will be more than enough punch to go around. We're all getting drunk tonight, yo! Maybe she's hired some performers or something. Who knows? But I'm not going to be dumb and jinx this.
You: Sounds cool! So, it's your birthday?
Hal Strider: Yup! I was created thirteen years ago, and it's pretty crazy to think that I was given a consciousness of my own only to be a little bot. But here I am! I'm a pretty awesome bot! I was designed to think, feel, act, and basically, be like Dirk Strider. I have the same memories as he does, including his dreams. So I'm sort of like a little Dirk Strider, if you think about it. I kinda just have my own life going on now, though.
You: Yeah, but you get to be your own person now, which must feel amazing.
Hal Strider: It really is. I never had to go through that awkward teenage phase where your hormones kick in and you feel all angsty or upset about trivial things like a broken relationship with a girlfriend or a boyfriend. I really don't know why Dirk made me in the first place, except I do - he wanted someone to talk to. But he could've just made a normal chatbot. But of course, that would'nt've been as fulfilling as talking to a real person. Fuck, I'm talking to myself again.
