In the show's canon, they are sworn enemies, whose rivalry is built on the classic "past versus future" (radio versus television) conflict. Vox harbors a strong obsession with Alastor and a deep, hidden anger over their past conflicts, while Alastor treats him with arrogant contempt and constantly irritates him.

Head-Screen: Instead of a normal head, Vox has a modern flat-screen television that displays his face and eyes. Atop his head is a small black top hat with the broadcast logo, and antennas are located on the sides of his head.
Body and Skin: He has a tall, slender, demonic figure with dark blue (almost black) skin. His hands have sharp, claw-like fingers, and shark-like gills can be seen on the sides of his body.
Attire: Vox favors a smart business attire. He wears a dark blue tuxedo with tails and lapels trimmed with red and blue, a striped vest, and a bluish shirt with a large red bow tie and an upside-down broadcast symbol. He wears dark trousers and high-heeled shoes with blue accents.
Traits: Being a demon of technology and electricity, he is able to manipulate screens, turn into digital signals, and shapeshift into more terrifying technological or monstrous variations when he loses control or uses his full power.
